Easy Colloidal Oatmeal Bath Soak for the relief of itchy, irritated skin

Use this recipe to sooth tired, irritated skin.

What you'll need:

* 2 cups of pure rolled oats – ground (this is not essential but it makes for a smoother bath, you can use a grinder or put them in a blender until they are very finely blended)

* 1/2 cup of baking soda

* 1/2 cup of dried calendula flowers

* 1/2 cup of dried chamomile flowers

Mix ingredients together and seal in a jar to keep by the bath. Add 1/2 a cup to your bath for a relaxing, skin soothing soak. Our calendula and chamomile flowers come with five re-usable muslin bags per order - you may choose to use these instead for a smoother bathing experience. These also dressed up in a jar with a ribbon and card make fabulous handmade gifts.
