Castor Oil - Cold Pressed - Hexane Free

Castor oil is extracted from the castor bean, which is the seed of the Ricinus communis plant. 

This oil has been extracted by the cold press process, no solvents such as hexane were used in the extraction process.

Our castor oil originates in India. Castor plants are especially grown without the use of sprays or pesticides. The castor plants are then harvested, and oil  extracted by the cold-press process. NO solvents are used in extraction. So to answer your question: does it contain hexane? We can say emphatically that it does not contain any hexane at all. Our castor oil is shipped to New Zealand in steel drums, then decanted directly into glass bottles. The question we are often asked: is it organic? No, it is not certified organic (which would increase the price significantly), however it is about as pure as you can get - so you can rest assured that it is 100% natural and good for your body.

HDPE plastic is the most environmentally stable of all plastics – giving off no harmful fumes into the environment. Manufacturing HDPE plastics requires only a very small amount of energy to produce, further contributing to its classification of being Eco-friendly. HDPE is completely free from BPA, is a non-reactive product and stable at ambient storage conditions. It does not decompose in the air and does not release any harmful gases or other products. HDPE is food grade, and is the same plastic that your milk comes in.
